The HumanaVitality program is a great success story and is one of the earliest wellness programs to reward its members for improving their health. While the program has been in place for several years, it is still seeing strong growth in participation, engagement and reward redemptions. Speakers

Stuart Slutzky, Chief of Product Innovation, HumanaVitality

Stuart Slutzky, Chief of Product Innovation for HumanaVitality, has been with Humana since early 2011.  Stuart joined Humana as part of the company’s joint venture with Discovery.  Prior to joining Humana, Stuart served as Senior Vice President of Product Development for Discovery’s US subsidiary - The Vitality Group and its predecessor Destiny Health.
 
Stuart joined Destiny Health in October of 1999, and as one of its first employees was a driving force behind the development and delivery of the company's unique comprehensive consumer-driven healthcare model in the United States. His leadership was instrumental in taking an internationally proven plan that changes the way members think about and use their health insurance benefit dollars, adapting it, and successfully implementing it in the United States.  In addition to product development his responsibilities with The Vitality Group and Destiny Health included technical marketing, pricing, risk management, underwriting strategy, sales management, as well as broker and employer education.
 
Prior to joining Destiny Health, Stuart spent over three years as a senior actuarial associate at the Trustmark Insurance Company, a Lake Forest, IL-based insurance carrier. There, Stuart worked on risk management, pricing and product development of individual and small group health insurance.
 
Stuart received a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
